Hello Everybody! I am Amber,  a registered Music Together teacher and licensed Center Director.  After spending 14 years in educational product development for a schoolbook publisher, I decided to concentrate solely on early childhood music education and bring you TuneBugz! Music Together. 

My love of music was born at home and at a very young age. I was only 6 months old when my family joined the back-to-the-land movement and took up camp (literally) in rural West Virginia with a small group of like-minded folks. Music seemed to hold the small slice of counter-culture together in many ways. Tribal drumming, crafting instruments, songwriting, and singing together were all natural components of everyday life.  

Once in school I spent my entire school career passionately focused on music - from singing in choirs of different musical genres, to performing solos and doing regular performances with ensembles.

 I have been a performer in, and supporter of Austin’s unique music community for over 20 years and have loved watching it grow from a best kept secret to the rich multi-cultural music epicenter it is today.

 I am now Mom to 2 music making boys (thank you Heartsong!) and I feel so blessed to be making music with the coolest families in the most musical city on Earth. Thank you Austin!
