• Parents of babies ages birth to 7 mos are encouraged to sign up for our one-time Babies Only intro to music and movement with Music Together. This developmental focused class is offered as a one-session introduction before babies age into the mixed-age class that is developmentally ideal once babies are fully mobile/crawling. The music, activities and materials in Babies Only are specifically geared toward infant and baby development in the first 7 to 8 months of life. This gentle introductory class prepares your family for integration into the mixed-age class as soon as your baby is crawling.  Parents enjoy the babies class to gain a deep and full grasp of the Music Together curriculum and how it applies to their baby's development in those first months of life and to make friends with other parents with infants too!    Parents will learn how musical development unfolds and how and why our research baesd actvities result in lots of smiles, coos and stimulation for babies. Come to learn the science of music on baby's brain, make friends and start forming your support system that is so critical for new parents. 
• Babies in this class range in age from just a few months to up to 7 months at the start of class.  
• Babies older than 7 mos at start of class are directed to join the mixed-age class straight away - as it is the most developmentally appropriate on your baby is on the move! 
• Babies who are crawling or walking "earlier" than the average tend to benefit MORE from the mixed-age class as the content of babies class is for pre-walkers, pre-crawlers. 

This is Music Together's essential family class. It's a class for mixed-ages from birth up through age 5.  Mixed-age classes give every baby, toddler, preschooler and pre-kinder aged child a chance to participate at a level that’s comfortable for them without performance pressures or comparison. Families love our mixed-age classes because siblings can play together in the same class while also making friends their own age.  New parents, seasoned parents along with nannies and caregivers are all joining in with children from birth through age 5 to learn in a mixed age environment that studies show is so beneficial. The Music Together program is designed to meet the needs of a broad range of ages and abilities, from infancy through kindergarten and our teachers are skilled at engaging with each child on their level.
